Chanting allows us to connect our breath, our bodies and our spiritual paths. Through the repetition of ancient mantras set to music, we learn to appreciate the sounds of the universe, and also, to heal ourselves from past griefs and traumas. In this one hour session, we will learn and chant Hindu and yogic healing melodies, accompanied by guitar and harmonium. Come join our circle! All texts will be provided in a culturally appropriate and sensitive context, and no previous musical or singing experience is necessary.

I am an educator, yogi, singer and poet. I mainly work with elementary-age children in the public school system. I also tutor English as a Second Language. I play piano and guitar. But most of all, I just like connecting with people around me.

Please arrive 15m prior to class starting. Due to our COVID protocols, we will not be allowing late-comers (those arriving after 15m prior to class time) to join. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Sorry - that class has already taken place!
